[Review] Volume+ For Android

Many Android users have probably experienced this, you open up an app and turn up your media volume to hear the soundtrack. You then exit the app, forgetting to turn down the system wide media volume or you really don’t want to wait for the app to open again. Next thing you know you’re sitting in a meeting or having a conversation, and the game/app you downloaded earlier wants to tell you something like “SALE!!! 50% OFF ALL COINS! HURRY!!!”. and your phone makes an annoying beep or sound that you become embarrassed about. If you’ve ever been in one of those situations, or just want to have complete control of your Android volume, read on to see what Volume+ can do for you.

Apple App Store Hits 25 Billion Downloads

Wow, all the iPads, iPhones, and iPods out there downloading apps and enjoying their own slice of Apple, have just given Apple something to be very proud of. 25 Billion Application Downloads, judging by the rate at which the counter was moving, Apple should be well on its way to 30 Billion. Congrats Apple, and congrats to the lucky winner of that $10,000 App Store Gift Card.

iTether Manages Approval: Update, Pulled

When apps like this come on the store the general rule is BUY, but there’s a catch to this. For those that don’t know iTether is an app that allows you to Tether your smartphones internet connection to any wireless device or sometimes by usb. Apple tends to not let tethering apps into the store so I would say ” GO GO GO” , but the ability to do something that Apple tends to not let you comes at a cost. $15. That’s a lot of money for an app. No matter what it is.

Update: It didn’t even last the day :/ Pulled from App Store
