To many people in the Sony eco system, Nathan Drake is quite the superstar. Sony Says No Discount When Transferring Games From UMD to Digital
A fact that is probably very upsetting to adopters of the first generation PSP and above, is that Sony will not offer discounted prices for the digital versions of games if you already own the UMD. As sad as this is, it makes sense, the used games market still has plenty of UMD games floating around. If someone bought a UMD and entered it in for a discount, the total cost could be dramatically reduced. Source: Engadget

New Camera! +updates, videos, and more!
I know I haven’t been posting a lot lately, but that’s cause the holidays are approaching and tech is winding down, until January that is… In the meantime you may be thinking. “Hey, he can still make videos for us.” Right! I can! And just for you guys I have cooked up some videos (more coming!) that I will be uploading. Watch for: A-Breaker Review, Chickon! (overview), Cyanogenmod for the HP Touchpad (overview) (not a how to), Zombieville 2 Review, and last, but certainly not least on my personal channel I will be uploading (hopefully) some Minecraft and (if I can get to it) some Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer.
Currently on the T&C channel I have posted a commentary on android face unlock, HP Touchpad overview (with a little hint of Moboot
) and on dell44223 I have some modern warfare 2 stuff, and one modern warfare 3 campaign mission.
Now you may be wondering. Why don’t I just shoot and be done with all this so you guys can view them? Read the title
it will be here in less then 24 hours and about another 30 hours after I might be able to start shooting with it.
Now what is “it” or “my new camera”. Well it’s new to me and old to a Twitterer I know who sold it to me. If you really want to know who you can search my profile, but i’m keeping it confidential for one reason. I don’t want to start hearing comparisons being made between our videos. He has way better videos then I do, and hopefully some of that will come with the camera quality, but in any case, the fewer that know the better. Anyways, the camera it’self is a Sony W290 “point and shoot” as many call it, but as per many videos iv’e watched it seems to be more of a hybrid p&s+dslr. It has the compactness like a P&S but takes great pictures and video, almost like a dslr. Hopefully this will improve the quality of my videos and allow me to make more, faster.
